All or none of these could be him.
No marriage found.
In 1901 he might have been the ‘Gerald A Macleam’ aged 43, of ‘Own Means’ and born in Paddington who was lodging with a provision merchant at 11, Hills Place, St James Westminster
Not found in 1911 census.

I wonder if Rose Heather Birch was a misprint for Rose Beatrice Birch who was, of course, his sister.
yes to the misprint: the will clearly says Rose beatrice birch.

6. His niece Grace Sybil Rose Marsh,
7, His nephew Vivian Mortlock Studd.
Rose was his residual legatee.
The three nieces and the nephew were Rose’s children, all of them.
