Note on his baptism:

FinadMyPast and Ancestry have, apparently, got together to make a combined set of all church records.

I have tried to find who Alexander married aroudnd 1845-50.  Their son Patrick was born in 1849 or so, giving a marriage date of a little before that.  But there are too many Alexander McClean marriages in that period.  

So I tried to see if there were any baptism records for Patrick as that would probably give his mother’s name.  But there were no recognisable baptisms in the Tyrone earea.

So I am at a loss on how to proceed.
