Ida and John Francis Leighton had a daughter Mary but she is only found in the 1881 census with her late mother’s second husband and his second wife.  No birth registration or baptism can be found.  On a cursory search no recognisable marriages or deaths found either.

Later: Her, the daughter’s, birth was found with the name Jennie Savony [sic] Leighton.

There is absolutely no corresponding registered marriage for the above.  I speculate that this was because St Martins was a fairly new church (somewhat funded by Oliver Sarony) and they had not got into the habit of forwarding marriage records to the registrars.
