Notes for Sarah
She was first found in the 1891 census, a widow and living with her widower son-in-law, David Puntan. She then gave her age as 83.
In the 1871 census it must be that she and her husband and two sons were living next door to her daughter Mary with her husband David Puntan. She then gave her age as 64.
The third confirming piece of evidence is that in 1871 her husband was alive and named as Edward Jones, the same name as given for her father in 1869 by Mary Jones at her marriage to David Puntan.
Not found in 1851 in either Carmarthenshire (where her children were born) or Glams (where they were living in 1871).

She last appeared in the 1891 census, at her son-in-law’s and a widow aged 83. In 1901 there was a 92 yer-old widow named Satah Jones and with a brother-in-law in Flintshire but I don’t think this was her as her birth was given as Denbighshire.
By entending the range of birth years offered at death, her almost ceretain death in Pontardawe was found:
