But no marriage can be found between Pharaoh and Churchman on FindMyPast.  Though there is this marriage on FreeBMD:

The copy of the index showed that FindMyPast had mistrancribed Pharoah.

It looks like they named their son precisely for his father.

The father George C M Pharoah was born in 1903 on FindMyPast, but no mother’s maiden name.  On the GRO brith record his birth was:

And in the 1911 census there was a George C Matthias Pharoah aged 8 in East Ham, London with Evelina Pharoah first in the list as wife and no relationships stated to the three children, plus a dleleted Violet Evelina Pharoah aged 16.  All rather anomalous.

I think I have now given up on trying to find the antecedents of the second Timothy M Pharaoh!

It looks as if there are a total of three marriages for the above two Timothy M Pharoahs:

1. In 1970 to Catherina A Clater in Chelsea, London,
2. In 1977 to Carol A Bardwell, or Bodwell, in Norwich,
3. In 1997 to Carol A Turner (another Carol A?) in Bury St Edmunds.

I think it will take three marriage certs to sort all that out.  They will include the ages of the bridgrooms and their fathers thus showing which family is which.

Let’s see what children they might have had, a Pharoah father with the above mother’s maiden names:

Note the second Clater birth three years after the marriage to Bardwell.  My guess is that the Clater marriage was that of the Timothy born in 1944 and the Bardwell marriage was with the Timothy born in 1954.  The cheapest way to sort this out is to buy a marriage certificate.  Possibly the Pharoah-Clater marriage as the second Timothy would only have been 16 at the time of that marriage and so unlikely to be him.

I think these are two separate families and that the first one is descended from the family of Eames of Fareham.

BUT ALSO from 1998 to 2020 there was yet a third Timoth Michael Pharoah of 2, Lamb's Passage, London, London, EC1Y 8BB, aged 40 to 44 and born in 1975 with a mother of McMinn, on another Electoral Register and Companies House Directors.  Do not ask me where he came from!

No entry found in any British newspaper for any Timothy Pharaoh for all years.  Sounds like he is still alive.
