Notes for Jessey Janet Sheddon Scrimgeour
Wilson being a much repeated name, her marriage to her husband was difficult to find. At one stage I even wondered if he had been married but in 1871 he definitely described himself as widower. Eventually a possible, though economically slightly early, marriage was found and even more eventually the 1851 census confirmed that it was her that had married James Arthur Wilson and that she was born in 1897 in Chiswick, Mx.
Now to see if we can find any record of her birth and death.
