_______________

In 1901 she was a pupil at a Ladies Sxchool at Ermington, Victoria Road South, Portsmouth, Hampshire, aged 12, born in Wickham and with 12 other pupils, ged 13 to 18 on the same census household.  Her father, Frank Fox Hammond was then a widower, still a brewer, and with his sister-in-law Louisa Pearse as house keeper back at home.
So her parents were Frank Fox Hammond and Elizabeth Ellen Pearce.
Her mother died in 1894 and was stated then to be 34, giving a birth year of 1860 instead of the 1856 in the 1891 census.  This makes more sense with her younger sister Louisa being born in 1873.
No further children born to Frank and Elizabeth between 1891 (the above census) and 1894 (Elizabeth’s death)

In her will she left her estate to be divided equally between her two nephews Norman Frank Pharoah of Greengatges, Marshall Road, Rainham, Gillingham Kent and Rev Donald James Pharoah of 5 Springshew Close, Bessels Green, Sevenoaks, Kent who were also the two executors.

I presume they were related on her side and were not Eames.

But I cannot find any sisters to marry a Pharoah.

Who was Lily Annie Eames?  Born in 1874 +/-10?
____________________

Lily’s birth cannot be found.

Was she in the 1901 census?

In 1881 she was 7, born in 1874 in Fareham and was with a William and Annie Calender as thier niece.  Annie was the sister of Sarah Chandler who married Richard Eames and Annie had married William Callnder.  Was Lily Annie the child of Richard and Sarah Eames née Chandler?  I think she has to have been.  Where was she in 1891 and 1901?

I cannot find her in the 1891 census but in 1901 she was a servant with a farmer aged 74 in Porchester, Fareham.

And she was baptised on 28 Dec 1873 but still no civil birth record found:

First name(s)           Lily Anne
