Notes for Alfred Turner
In the 1851 census he had a daughter Kate who was born in Calcutta:

First name(s) Last name Relationship Marital status  Gender  Age  Birth year  Occupation  Birth place

Alfred Turner Head Married Male 35 1816  Merchant (General)  Liverpool, Lancashire
Susanna Turner Wife Married Female 31 1820  -  Lindley, Gloucestershire
Charles J Turner Son - Male 4 1847  -  -
Kate Turner Daughter - Female 3 1848  -  -  Calcutta
Isabella Thompson Sister In Law Married Female  35  1816  -  Gloucestershire
Hester Turner Servant Widow Female 52 1799 Nurse  -
Elizabeth McGenity Servant Unmarried Female 38  1813  Cook  Liverpool, Lancashire
Elizabeth Bowes Servant Unmarried Female 27  1824  Housemaid  Scotland

In 1871 a Kate Morrison had three Seton children, neice and nephews, staying with her family, their mother was Emily Isabel Turner.  I think this identifies this census record as for the father of Emily Isabel Turner.  Emily was born, it seems in the 1850s so should appear in the 1861 census.
