“Henry Winton Seton was the son of Colonel Alexander Seton. He was an Officer in the British Military and married Sybil Helen Abercromby, daughter of Douglas Charles Abercromby and Helen Louisa Hodgson Murray, on 27 July 1915. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 9th Gurkhas.
“Margaret Helen Seton is the daughter of Captain Henry Winton Seton and Sybil Helen Abercromby. She was born on 30 May 1916. She married Colonel Rolland Padraig Stewart Erskine-Tulloch, son of Captain Denis Rolland Diarmid Stewart Erskine-Tulloch, on 15 August 1940

And neither answer will prove that this was all the children that Henry and Sybil had.
In fact the total births registered in Aberdeenshire from 1915 to 1920 (when Henry’s brother George married) is precisely these two births. Who were the parents?
(I am about to get a copy of Burke’s 1952 Landed Gentry entry for the Setons of Mounie which might add to the picture. I am delaying any certificate ordering until after I have digested this.)
