Notes for Thomas Oliver
At marriage he was said to be or the parish of Ridgemont.

In his will he explicitly names his daughter as Sarah Coster.

He also had a daughter Ann who had died, with issue, by the time of writing his will in 1811.

His burial entry was “Thomas Oliver, a farmer aged 82 of the parish of Flitwick was buried 1 Feb 1805 Registered by me   W White, Curate.

Apparently probate was given by someone near Bedford on 13 Feb 1805.

A transcription by Robert Hale:

I Thomas Oliver of Flitwick Warren Farm in the Parish of Flitwick in the county of Bedford Farmer Do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament First my will is that all my Freehold Estate shall descend to my eldest son William Oliver his heirs and assigns for ever. And I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah Coster thirty pounds and to my son Thomas Oliver Five Pounds and to my daughter Elizabeth Oliver One Hundred pounds these several sums to be paid within two years after my decease and in case either of them die before the expiration of two years after my decease then the Legacy to him her or them so dying shall be void. Also I give to each of the children of my late daughter Ann Hobbs who shall live to the age of Twenty One years Ten Pounds to be paid them on their respectively attaining that age. All the residue and remainder of my monies goods chattels rights credits and all other my personal estate whatsoever I give to my son James Oliver his Executors Administrators and assigns And I do constitute and appoint my said son James Oliver sole Executor of this my last will and testament contained in one sheet of paper. In witness thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of May in the year One thousand Seven Hundred and ninety nine.

Jun 2016, TFPL: I now have a photocopy of his actual will with a mark and a seal at the foor for Thomas Oliver.  It was proved indeed on 13 Feb 1805.  The above transcription is spot on.
