(Note that there was another record for a Charles Benjamin birth in 1842 in Alverstoke, Hants. Probably the son of Edward Philips Charlewood, whose wife was Sarah in the 1851 census which included this Charles.)

He was also found as a boarder at a boarder at a small school in Bath in the 1861 census, born in Symington, Hants and aged 14.
No record has been found for his marriage, so we don’t know who the mother of his son Charles is. Though son’s birth hwas registered so that will give her name.
