Notes for Robert Forbes
In 1826 a Hon Robt Forbes was appointed civil and sessions judge in Tirhoot, India.
Probably the 6th son of the 17th baron Forbes (S), premier barony of Scotland. The barony survives to this day (2017).
He departed Calcutta for Suez on 24 Mar 1858.
