But done in early May for the second of these two marriages as Lambeth was a tad closer to John’s last known address of Windlesham.
But this marriage certificate of 1929 was for a John Benjamin Rawson who was 25 years old so not John Busfeild.

On 27 July 1897 he was gazetted 2nd Lieut, wef 15 July 1897, with the 2nd Volunteer Battalion, The Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment).
