Notes for William Morgan Fletcher-Vane Lord Inglewood
He changed his name from Vane to Fletcher-Vane by deed poll in 1931, for reasons as yet undiscovered. It seems it came with the Hutton-in-the-Forest estate which he inherited from the last of a line of Fletcher Vane (no hyphen) baronets. The estate had been held in trust from that chap’s death in 1909 until William was 21.
