Wrottesley says her father was Sir Robert Astley of Tixall. Was he any connection to the Sir Robert of Haywood and Parkhall, Staffs who is already in this database? Presumably not far away. The fact that Sir Robert Aston’s grandson is ‘of Tixall’ leads me to conclude that this is the one and same person.
