In her ODNB article it says that she actually died at Westminster Hospital, and they say they had copied of her birth, marriage and death certificates. The probate index entry says she died at 46 Belgrave Sq, under that rule that the residence is the place of death unless they report otherwise, but the probate index entry spelled ’honourable’ wrongly and omitted her title of Dame, a substantial deterioration of older standards of pernickitiness.
I have used 46 Belgrave Sq as her death place as it is the best evidence I have - and I’m not spending a tenner on her death cert.
_______________
When she died her husband had been dead for 20 year, her only child had died 2 years previously and her eldest grandchild was 26 so I’m not surprised one or two details were unclear.
