Notes for Anne Louisa Scott
In the 1911 census she reported that she had had but one child who was still alive.
In the 1881 census she was with her parents and elder sister in Grosvenor Sq, London. She was reported as born in MaryleBone, Middlesex and aged 13. Her father was Edward Henry Scott, 5th bt, and had married Emilie Packe, youngest dau. of Col Henry Parke of Twyford Hall, Norfolk, in Q2 of 1865. The baronetcy was ‘of Lytchett Minster, Dorset’ where the first baronet lived. In the 1871 census Edward Henry said he was a JP for Kent, a landowner and a banker.

The registration in Lambeth does not tie in with the baptism in Marylebone. It might be worth getting the certificate. Or, even, looking on the GRO site to see their new index.
The new GRO birth index includes the mother’s surname and shows it to be Whymark which is NOT the name of Anne Louisa’s mother in Burke’s Peerages of Packe.
This means that the only hard information for her birth is in the baptism records for May 4th 1868 which says that she was born in 1868. On the basis that the baptism was at least a month after a birth, at that time, this make April or march to be the possibilities for her birth and ‘ca April’ is what I am choosing to enter.
