In the Royal House of Stewart by George Crawfurd, reprinted in George Robertson’s Shire of Renfrew in 1818, p. 40, is written that Walter Stewart had a daughter and heir Margaret who married William Cunningham. This is probably the co-heir to Isabella of The Scots Peerage.
Crawfurd says that Walter had a charter from James III in 1452 for this estate.
