This must be his death, it is the only one on FreeBMD that has the right sort of age for the birth year given in the 1881 census and is in the district he lived in in 1911:

In 1851 He was aged 12 and with with a family of Clipshams; the father was an absent Master mariner.  He was down as Robert B Fido and related to the Head (the mariner) as “Wife’s Son”.  Also in the household was Elizabeth Fido who was “Wife’s mother”.  Roberts’ mother was Elizabeth Clipsham, presumably born Fido and aged 26 with thee children from 1 to 4.
