Notes for Maria Winifred Shuttleworth
This is possibly her in 1841, or at least this is the only Maria Shuttleworth born in Lancashire in roughly the right time frame. I wonder what happened to her parents and were the Walkers related?

Interestingly in the 1851 census James Walker’s wife (a different one?), Ann (not the Maria of 1841?) was born in Bolton, Lancs, the same as Maria Shuttleworth, increasing the chance that Maria Shuttleworth’s mother and Ann Walker were related and that Ann (or Maria) took them in when their parents died or vanished or whatever.
