In fact she survived to the 1939 Register where she was Sophia E Frye, female, born 24 Oct 1881, single and of no occupation. She was living at Barnes with her sister Mabel and nephew Roy P-L plus two redacted youngsters.
She was a witness at her brother Leslie’s wedding in April 1939.
