(b) Fasti Ecclesiae Scoticanae vol 8, p. 230 for Hans hamilton where it states that he was gt-grandfather to William Carstares, principal of Edinburgh Univ.
(c) Fasti Ecclesiae Scoticanae vol 3, p. 461 where is says that John C m. Janes, dau of Wm Mure of Glanderstoune, though without making it clear which Wm it was.
