There is one Edith J Hoseason in the 1939 Register with two redacted other entries. There is also an older Maude Irwin in the house who has no obvious connection to either Edoith or a Hoseason husband:
6 Grange Avenue , Hale U.D., Cheshire, England
FIRST NAME(S) LAST NAME(S) DOB SEX OCCUPATION MARITAL STATUS SCHEDULE SCHEDULE SUB NUMBER
Edith J Hoseason 06 Dec 1908 Female Unpaid Domestic Duties Married 74 2
Maude Irwin 13 Dec 1869 Female Unpaid Domestic Duties Married 74 1
Alice M Gibson 17 Dec 1875 Female Paid Domestic Duties Widowed 74 5
There is an Edith Murphy in the 1939 Register born in Sep 1910 which is not her.
An Edith Josephine Hoseason died in Q2 of 1994 with a birth date of 6th Dec 1908 which is the same as the 1939 Register entry. Looking good.
Her probate gives the death as 19 June and Probate at Winchester, again as Edith Josephine Hoseason.
I think it is worth getting this Hoseason marriage as the index entry on FindMyPast is:

The marriage certificate adds in that she was 24 at marriage and her father was Robert Hartley (deceased); one witness was A Muriel Hartley, her eldest sister, the other witness was L Marjorie Robinson, also an elder sister, but married. So this marriage has to be hers.
Her husband was Henry Sandford Hartley, aged 32, a bachelor and a Captain in the 1st Manchester Regiment, living at 96 Piccadilly and his father was Arthur Sandford Hoseason, a telegraph engineer.
They were married at the RC church of Assumption of St Gregory in St Martin District, London

Two Hoseason births with Hartley mother’s maiden names have been found, one in 1939 and the other in 1944.
