But the odd thing is that none of them were given the ‘De Courcey-Ireland’ surname yet their parents had the full name in 1939 and their mother’s death was clearly registered with that surname. I think a little more evidence is needed to decide which, if any, were their children. Newspaper adverts? But nothing found in any of FindMyPast’s newspapers.
There were on FindMyPast between 1923 and 1963 some 23 birth records for surnames of ‘de Courcy-Ireland’ but none of these had a mother’s name of martin.
I think they had no children.
