April 2009, TFPL: I would guess that this chap is the one entered in G E CoKayne’s Complete Baronetage, vol IV, p. 208. If so, he was of Dublin and Blackhall, co. Kildare and a property at Blackhall certainly came into the hands of his gt-grandson Thomas Wolfe. The baronetcy expired with the death of William’s only son John in 1704, making it more likely that Blackhall would have gone to a (one of his?) sister. Eyes can be kept open on this one...
This William’s m. (1) Catharine, dau. of Richard brooke and (2) Grace, dau. of William Thwaites and widow of William Hawkins; the latter left a will which will not have survived the Dublin conflagation of 1922.
