John Perkins, bapt 2 Mar 1732 at St Mary’s Dover.
Richard Rouse held the manor of Archers Court in Whitfield, Kent. He bought if off a descendant of Thomas Broom of London who had obtained it from Sir Hardress Waller in 1657. (Hasted, Kent, V.9, p. 440). This manor then passed in marriage of Affra Rouse when she married Phineas Stringer in 1761.
