It is fairly certain that he is descended from a Peter Corbet of Leghton who m. Alice Orreby, bro. of John and dau. of Fulk.  But I cannot follow the language in Ormerod, III, 325 which apparently delineates this descent from and IPM or two of 9 and 10 Hen IV.
