Her death record (and it really does sound like hers) is a bit odd with her age given as 24 when she was actually 39):

But there was an Edid H death in the probate record who was wife of Gilbert Claud H of Mashona, Sunningdale, Berks. I wonder if the probate entry is hers and not this Enid’s.
I think she may have died young.
