Will notes for Mabel Violet Mary A K Nash
Her probate index:
HAMILTON, Mabel Violet of 416 Fulham Road London SW6 died 23 April 1978 Probate London 15 December £3801 780125593N
________________
In her will she lists several sisters and appointed two executors:
1. Michael Jephson of 6A Redcliffe Place London SW10
2. Edith Augusta Nash of Kilmurry Lodge Castletroy, Limerick, Ireland, her sister
The witnesses to the will were the above M Jephson of the same address and Alison Jephson also of that address and probably Michael’s wife. There are some Jephsons who are Hamilton descendants on my database and it is possible that Michael Jephson was an in-law of Mabel’s, to be discovered later when I get to them in my search.
The beneficiaries were not Hamilton descendants so have not been added to this database, but they were listed as:
1. Her sister Laura Butler of Flagt 1, 70 Shepherds Hill, Highgate London N6,
2. Her sister Florence Pollock of 6 Beaufort Gardens London SW3,
3. Her sister, the above executor Edith Augusta Nash,
4. Her niece Leititia Gilhooly of 70 Dundela Park Sandy Cove, County Dublin,
5. Her niece Mrs Marguerite Nash also of 70 Dundela Park Sandy Cove, County Dublin.
In all this she make absolutley no mention of any children of hers so I conclude that she and her husband Anthonly Baldwin Hamilton died without issue.
