For his death CP says it was on 31 Jul 1933 at Longthorpe House, Peterborough, Northants while Burke’s peerage 1999 and 2003 both say it was 5 Sep 1942 (with no location). Who is right??? I have to go for CP pro tem. I’ve looked at the Death indexes on FindMypast and I can find neither Hans Hamilton nor Hans Holmpatrick at either of these dates. Wait for FreeBMD to catch up for a wider search? c. 2009?
Interestingly the death date in CP is the same date and place as that of his mother. I am slowly wondering if CP might not have got this wrong!
No birth on FreeBMD; Ireland probably.

Thanks are due to Pat Mulholland for taking super photos of his MI in Dublin and then finding that I had entered his mother’s death date for his! The MI added in the information that he died in Abbotstown.
