Notes for Humprey Davie
This birth record is the only one for a Humphrey Davie between 1860 and 1920, though there is a Humphrey Robert in 1880 and a Humphrey Bache C in 1905. His son in law was 28 at marriage; Bettine might have been anything from 20 to 30 then, so born 1925-35; with a birth date of 1870, this would make Humphrey anything from 55 to 65 at her birth; hence I reckon he might more plausibly be one of the later Humphreys.
