Notes for Rev Archibald Hamilton
He was ordained in Benchurch in 1668, removed to Armagh in 1673 , then to Killinchy in 1693 where he died in 1699. He was heir to his grandfather so became heir to one fifth of the Clanbrassil estates, which he sold to his cousin James Hamilton of Tully.
He had five generations of a male line before it daughtered out, shown in Geo Hamilton’s book, but none of it has any other connections except his daughter Jane.
