A Maurice B R Blackwood was a naval cadet posted to the Hannibal; announced in The TImes on 14 Sep 1898.
His family has, from the 2003 Burke’s Peerage, settled in Australia. As such it is not possible to gain public access to the later public birth, marriage and death registers, so little confirmation can be made of the data supplied by Burke. However the earlier generations have compared exactly with the English and Australian registers so the following generations should be reliable.
