The Worcs 1569 vis’n, p. 71, has an Alexander Besford of Besford, living 13 H 4 = 1412 which is much the same timeframe, who had two daus and coheirs: Margaret who m. John Dikleston and N.N. who me, Sir William Clopton.  On p. 73 he appears again as Alex Besford of Besford, Glos, with a dau. and heir Alice who m. Sir Wm Clopton.  Believe what you will, but the evidence is flakey!
