SP notes a conjecture that he married Isobel, dau. of Sir John Stewart of Innermeath and Lorn, this from the impaled arms in Tullibardine church.
He certainly was dead in 1432 when his son David was served heir of his grandmother, Margaret le Barde. But why was he not served heir any earlier? Might it have been that he, the younger David, was a minor and his father, this David, had died before 1412, before his mother?
