Feb 2011: Michael Andrews-Reading has come up with an interesting proposition about his wife.  It is due to the fact that there were three co-heirs to the estates of John de Longwood on his death in 1341-2.  One of the co-heirs was John thr heir of this Gilbert.  The proposal is that they were all descended from daughters of John de Longwood and that one of these daughters had married this Gilbert.  So Gilbert’s wife was N. N. Longwood.
