He “may, perhaps” hsve been the son of William Comber of Shermanbury and Margaret, dau. of Rochard Arnold.  John Comber, the auther of the excellent article on his forefathers, is not sure of this connection so I am including nothing further.  But John did provide ssome well researched information on William’s descendants, thus adding two generations to our ancestry.
