Notes for William Crichton Lord Crighton
he feuded with the Livingstons and the Douglases. He seems to have organised the beheading of two Douglases.  He was beseiged in Edinburgh castle for nine weeks at one stage.  But he won through and Douglas was even murdered at the king’s hands after a safe-conduct!
