The Salop Visitation says she was the dau. and heir of John Stepleton of Stepleton.  There is a Sir John Stapleton whose dau. and co-heir Joyce m. a Thos Hoorde, so Christiana could well be the other heir, but there is no confirmation of this so I’m leaving here fatherless for the moment.

The History of Parliament for 1386 to 1421 includes a John Stapleton II of Dormington, Herefords who dspm between 1446 and 1450 leaving five daughters as co-heirs.  But as yet those daughter have not been named anywhere.
