Notes for Peter Cross
At his marriage in 1688, Peter was recorded as the son of Edmund Cross.
The Suffolk Digest has records of earlier children born to Peter and Joanna Cross from 1574 to 1682. I wonder if this was an earlier marriage and if Elizabeth Peckover was his second wife, with her children born from 1688 to, poss, 1708?

There are records on the internet that he was born on 18 Aug 1647 at St Mary, Woodbridge, Suffolk. However I have been unable, so far, to confirm this so am deleting that birth date. (It might be a baptism entered in the C of E parish register, though.)

In the CDROM of Suffolk births, the following children were born to Peter and Elizabeth Cross of Woodbridge (Yr_Mon_Dy):
Joseph, 1688_12_14
Margaret, 1690_10_17
Sarah, 1692_5_23
Katherine, 1694_7_10
Elizabeth, 1696_5_13
Rebeckah, 1697_8_14 (d. 1700_4_20?)
Benjamin, 1699_11_10
John, 1703_5_9 -- } these may be different Peter & Eliz for parents as
Benjamin, 1706_6_31 -- } both births are at Kellshall.
