Harold Waring Atkinson is adamant that Rebecca was the dau. of Richard Dearman and N.N. Womersley and not John Dearman and Eliz. Broadhead, as in “Smith of Doncaster”. The date of John’s marriage in 1686 seems to prove him right with Rebecca’s marriage in 1682, the latter of which is the same in both these books.
