Notes for Rev Henry Charles Bowker
I have found another marriage of Henry Charles Bowker, this time in Q3 of 1873 and he m. Emma Susannah Monypenny at Bangor. These are the same name and initials as the lady on the 1881 census, though I am not sure why they m. in Bangor as she was born, from 1881, in Hadlow, Kent. Perhaps I can give this a while to digest before actioning anything. She was 36 in 1881, thus born c. 1845, but no birth to be found around then on FreeBMD, apart from a ‘Female Monypenny’ in Q4 of 1844 in Tunbridge, Kent; sounds possible as Hadlow is in the Tunbridge district; vol 5, p. 492.
