An Alice Elizabeth Bowker was married in Brighton in Q4 of 1874, vol 2b, p. 408; husband was one of George Frederick King and Frederick John Rayner. Dunno if this is her, place is odd.
The 1881 census has an Alice E King as wife of George F King, Alice was 34 and born at Christchurch, Middlesex, so could be her. A visitor with them was Ellen S Bowke, plausibly an otherwise unheard of Bowker sister. Looks promising. They were living at Grosvenor Rd, Hawthornes, Chiswick, Mx.
The Alice Rayners in the 1881 census do not look plausible.
His descendant John Cunningham confirms that she married George Frederick King.
