Notes for Ellen Collard
In 1881 she was at school at The College, Tressillian Road, Deptford St Paul, Kent, aged 12 and born in Stodmarsh, Kent. With her was Maud Collard, also born at Stodmarsh and almost certainly her sister.
In 1901 she was Ellen Jones, a widow, having married, obviously, a Jones. She was head of her house and living with her brother Sydney and nephew Tasman (?) R G Thomas aged 6, with one servant.
Armed with the 1901 info, FreeBMD came up with her husband: Arthur Lancefield Jones.

There are far too many Ellen Jones deaths, even in Kent alone, to guess if she died before c. 1915 from FreeBMD.
