Notes for Sir Hugh de Abernethy
CP says that he and Mary had several sons.
John Ravilous, s.g.m., 27 Nov 2006, quotes Leslei in his “Historical records of the family of Leslie”, pub 1869 as saying that this Hugh was the son of Patrick, the first son of Laurence. SP is slightly confusing on Hugh’s generation and this could well be true.
TFPL, Oct 2008: Bruce Mc Andrew, p. 128, shares this view of Hugh’s parentage.
