C. 1500 he recovered the manors in Raydon from Humphrey Stafford who had wrongly been given them as the (incorrect) heir of Avice Stafford and of whom Henry Bures was the correct heir.
It is probably this Henry Bures who is in the Suffolk 1561 Visitation (pp. 94 and 222) as dying in 1528 and who m. Anne Waldegrave, dau. of Robt. Waldegrave and Anne Drury and had four daughters and co-heirs, of whom the eldest was Mary who married Thomas Barrow (see Suffolk 1612 visitation).
