In the descendants portrayed here, I am following the research by C T Clay as published in Early Yorkshire Charters vol 6 and in Early Yourshire Families pp. 68-70. I will correlate some of this with Keats-Rohan’s Domesday books at a later date. For my money, Clay’s research was of a high order and no-one has revisited it with a similar thoroughness in the intervening years, possibly because he did such a good job.
