Notes for John Booth
There were a succession of John Booths (Bowth in the 1567 visitation) of Barton in the 15th and 16th centuries, so it is a little tricky to work out which one this John is. See VCH Lancs, vol 4. pp. 363-376.
The interesting point is that these Booths may have descended from the Bartons of Barton, who are also ancestral.
