There are some Burghills of Glos in Moor’s ‘Kts of Ed I’, Vol I, p. 164; I wonder if they might be ancestral?

The letters patent of the augmentation of arms granted in 1679 to Francis Burghill, Mowbray Herald Extraordinary, sold at public auction in July 2013. Burghill's arms are blazoned Paly of 6 pieces argent & sable, on a bend gules an Eastern crown or. Crest: A lion's head erased argent crowned with an Eastern crown gold. The addition of the crown was in recognition of his services as agent of the Duke of Norfolk, Ambassador Extraordinary to the Emperor of Morocco:
