In Aug 2005, John Ravilous came up with an account of Guy’s parentage that is at variance with keats-Rohan’s. He follows ES and says Guy was the younger son of Renaud of Caron and Agnes le Vitre, Agnes being the daughter of Robert de Vitre and Bertha de Craon.
